The 2019 National Final of Subs in Schools will be hosted by Adelaide's at St Peter's College between the 9th and 11th of December. Fortunately, Parramatta Marist Subs in Schools teams have been awarded a generous grant by the Department of Industry and Science, comprehensively funding materials, specialist resources, travel and accommodation for this event.

More than 500 Special Religious Education teachers (SRE/catechists) from across Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains made their way to St Andrew the Apostle Parish, Marayong, joining 200 student SREs from 19 Catholic high schools, for the annual Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) Mass and Awards Ceremony. During Week 7, we celebrated the progress Australian schools are making in raising the literacy levels of all students. The week showcased the hard work of our school community and the work undertaken by all Parramatta Marist teachers to increase and improve literacy standards of our students, as well as share our love for language and literature.
