On Friday 21st February, 8 of our Year 12 leaders attended the Parramatta Diocese Lifted Leadership conference at Penrith Panthers. Catholic Youth Parramatta have identified the importance of leadership development as a key element of formation for our youth. Our students networked with students from other schools, catching up with old friends and even primary schoolmates. Our students were able to present to the wider community some of the goals that they have been working towards, they also heard about some of the highlights from World Youth Day in Panama earlier this year. The Lifted Live Leaders Conference was a fantastic experience that allowed students, within most of the schools in the Parramatta Diocese, to network and communicate about both Leadership and Faith. The significance of the day was to allow students to gain an understanding of how other schools operate and thereby incorporate their initiatives into our own goals for 2019.
