Congratulations to the following Year 12 students who received the Rotary VET award this year for outstanding commitment and achievements in a VET framework:
- Harry Kanaan - Certificate II in Hospitality (Food and Beverage)
- Ronan Santos - Statement of Attainment towards Certificate III in Information and Digital Media Technology
- Adem Kilciler - Statement of Attainment towards Certificate III in Fitness
- Andre Kurkcu - Certificate II in Business Services
- John Lichaa - Certificate II in Construction
- The award recipients were presented at a ceremony held at The Hills Sports High
- School on 18th September.
In special recognition of Tim Dickinson’s commitment and enthusiasm in the teaching of Hospitality, he was awarded excellence in his teaching of Vocational Education and Training. The citation for his award is as follows:
“Tim is an innovative, enthusiastic and motivating Hospitality teacher who engages student learning through various creative strategies. His service periods are always outstanding. Tim always maintains industry currency through his extensive involvement in many professional learning opportunities. He is an outstanding role model not only to his students for his passion for Hospitality but also to his peers to drive change and innovation in teaching practices”

700+ Unite for Project Compassion Big Water Walk
