Congratulations to Mr Sakaraia Vuki who received the prestigious "Service to Marist Education Award" last Friday night at Hunters Hill.
Mr Vuki is a person that is approachable, unassuming, authentic, attentive and respectful. Mr Vuki was educated at Marist Brothers Suva and has dedicated 36 years to Marist education. Mr Vuki always aims to affirm others and inspires them in confidence and hope.
He acts as a mentor and guide for students and staff. His simplicity is encapsulated by ‘doing good things quietly’, never seeking recognition or accolades for the great work he does.
Mr Vuki is a model of a great Marist educator and a person whom Saint Marcellin Champagnat would be proud of for continuing his mission of making Jesus known and loved.
We at Marist High School Parramatta are grateful for Mr Vuki's service to the school and to Marist education.
