Champagnat Day 2020 was celebrated differently this year due to the restrictions of Covid-19. Instead of a Whole School Mass that was to be celebrated by our Bishop, we had individual class liturgies to remember and celebrate our founder, St Marcellin Champagnat.
Our SRC presented our teachers and support staff with a handwritten card and a gift to thank them for their "love of work" as one of our Marist pillars.
In the afternoon, the staff presented the students with a commemorative water bottle as testament to another Marist Pillar, "family spirit". Given the restrictions on the use of bubblers, this was an appropriate gift and one well received.
