As I write to you, I would firstly like to introduce myself to those of you whom I have not yet met. My name is Mr Chris Craven and I started at Parramatta Marist at the beginning of this year. I bring with me 9 years of teaching experience which covers both TAS and VET. It is with this that I have recently been appointed the new Vocational Learning Coordinator. This new role is both an exciting new step for Marist and will bring a new dynamic to learning for the boys at Marist. My vision is to grow it to become a great pathway for all students who are keen to uncover their gifts and talents in a hands-on way through pathways that will tie in closely with careers and life after school options that they can encounter in a practical way. The options that are currently offered to students include Fitness, Business Services, Construction, Active Volunteering (Marist Missions), Hospitality, Information Digital Technology, VET Vocational Pathways, Sports Coaching and Financial Services.
