We inspired our students to explore, innovate and thrive.

HEX is excited to announce its partnership with the first Catholic school established in Australia, Parramatta Marist High School, to embed the HEX High Accelerator program into their Year 10 program from Term 1, 2024.

Parramatta Marist has always been a trailblazer in education, leading the way with 21st-century pedagogical practices that provide great learning opportunities for their students and prepare them for life beyond school.

“The partnership with HEX High Accelerator will build on the foundations that we instil in our teaching and learning to provide further tertiary recognised opportunities for our students to give them a headstart on their chosen journey post-school.”, Joshua Bryers, Head of STEM and Industry Partnerships at Parramatta Marist.

Jake Ward, Director of Strategy at Parramatta Marist, also said: “After meeting the HEX team at EduTech in Melbourne, we were impressed with their vision, business model and learning opportunities, which we believed aligned with what we were after at Parramatta Marist.”

Opening the pathway of possibilities with university-recognised learning!

With the HEX High Accelerator Program, high school students will not only gain high-demand entrepreneurial and innovation skills – but it will also unlock off-ramps to higher education if they choose to pursue a university degree through an accredited certificate of completion from the University of Sydney.

“Giving our students an opportunity to explore the world of innovation and entrepreneurship with industry experts and receive a Certificate of Completion from the leading university, which is recognised Australia-wide, definitely made HEX stand out from the rest.”, said Ward.

“We're excited to begin this partnership between Parramatta Marist and HEX in 2024!”
