Our great collaboration with Precision Metal continues!
We recently had Old Boy Callum Blaik from the Class of 2020 attend school to mentor the F1 in Schools students with their designs and development.
Callum is completing an internship with Precision Metal whilst studying industrial design. Precision Metal is run by Old Boy Jason Elias (Class of 1995) who is a fantastic supporter of Parra Marist and upskilling students.

Commitment to Close the Gap clear for Western Sydney Catholic schools
Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) has released its first annual Closing the Gap report. This report outlines its contribution to improving socio-economic outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, particularly students and their families. CSPD Chief Executive Officer Jack de Groot said the report reflects the dedication of CSPD’s 6 500 staff in fostering reconciliation and equity through the organisation’s 80 outstanding school across Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains.

Each year, one Year 12 student in every Catholic secondary school in the Diocese of Parramatta is awarded the Bishop of Parramatta Award for Student Excellence. This prestigious award is nominated by the school principal and recognises a student’s witness to their Catholic faith and outstanding contribution to the school community in areas such as academic excellence, sporting achievement, creative and performing arts, social justice, vocational education and community involvement.
