Parra Marist had two representative speakers in Lior and Lucas from Year 9, who presented at the Annual Clift Public Speaking Competition 2022. This competition is organised by the Rotary Club of Parramatta. The topic of the night was "From little acorns, big oaks grow".
During the competition, our speakers demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and delivered their speeches with sophistication. Unfortunately, we lost the battle to our competing school: Our Lady of Mercy College. However, Lucas and Lior should be commended for their efforts and perseverance as they represented our school with strength and honour!
